Great Black Backed Gull


The Great Black Backed Gull is the largest member of the gull family. They have their own distinctive look—black beaks and wings and snow white underparts. Their bill is yellow with a red spot that entices the young to feed and the legs are a pale pink. This gull can live in excess of 30 years. The number of young per year is three with an incubation period of 27 days.
