Annual Church Service
The Annual Community Church Service will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 at 7:00 pm at the Elliston United Church. It is the official start of the 2015 Puffin Festival. Community members participate in this service with special gospel singers from the region. Free will offering. Come and bring a friend!
3 Cash Draws for Entertainers
Local entertainers perform at the Puffin Festival free of charge. As part of the Hubert Stagg Memorial night, Tourism Elliston and the Stagg family provide 3 cash draws. 1 for $200.00 and 2 for $50.00 each as our token of appreciation for performing free of charge.

The Victor Pearce Memorial Boil Up
Beautiful Coles’ Gulch will provide the background setting for this year’s boil-up. Homemade baked beans, Maple Leaf bologna, wieners, salt capelin, tea buns and raisin bread (from the Bonavista Social Club) will all be on the menu. Join us Monday, July 13, 2015 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm for this outdoor experience. Tickets are $10.00 each and can be purchased at the gate entrance to Coles’ Gulch
Ack Ryan Memorial Community Night

Where: Elliston Recreation Center
Join us for a night of music, comedy skits and recitations. The old cast is back with new material. Doors open at 7:00 pm. Get your seat early.

Tourism Elliston will be serving moose burgers, hot dogs, sausage dogs, pop and water from Wednesday, July 15th – Sunday July 19th at the barbecue booth. A delicious treat for all.
Peninsula Idol – 2015
This year 9 contestants battle it out over a 5 day period to claim the title of PENINSULA IDOL 2015. The first show kicks of on Wednesday night, July 15th at 10:15pm and concludes on Sunday July 19th. Come out and support the Idol contestant of your choice. This year’s show will not disappoint.
We want your dog! Kids or parents can enter their dog or dogs in our dog show. This is not a contest. All dogs will receive a certificate of participation and we will have 3 random draws for cash prizes. The dog show is scheduled for Thursday, July 16th at 3:10 pm. Call Don or Collette at 468-7080 to enter your dog or dogs. Deadline is Tuesday, June 14, 2015.

Jiggs Dinner Days

Local vegetables, stored in the root cellars of Elliston, make their way to the kitchen tables at the park. Combine this with peas pudding and Old Port salt beef and you are guaranteed to have the finest jiggs dinner ever.

Second Chance Bingo
This game is scheduled for Sunday, July 19th at 8:35 pm. This is your chance to win more than a thousand dollars. This is a one game, full card. Bring your bingo blotters. Cards on sale all day Sunday. $1,007.50 to be won.
Tourism Elliston Bowling Challenge
This is the 18th year for the Bowling Challenge. 10 top players (Thursday – Sunday) playoff Sunday evening for a major prize. Top player for the day will also receive a prize.
Ray Durdle Dart Challenge
This is the 18th year for the Ray Durdle Dart Challenge. 10 top scorers (Thursday – Sunday) playoff Sunday evening for a major prize. Top scorer for the day will also receive a prize.
Price is Right Showcase
Back again by popular demand is the Price is Right Showcase. Cole Hayley will host this showcase with a total price value between $1,000 and $2,000. From Thursday to Sunday 10 names will be drawn to participate in this showcase. Tickets are $2.00 ea. or 3 for $5.00.
